This work features an excerpt from The Seven-Branch Prayer to Buddha Shakyamuni. This is a classic Mahayana practice that accumulates merit and purifies obscurations. The seven branches (or limbs) are: prostration, offering, confession, rejoicing, requesting to turn the wheel of Dharma, requesting to remain, and dedication.
