Padmasambhava points to a radical truth: samsara and nirvana are not two different places. The difference lies in recognition. When mind fails to recognize its own empty, luminous nature, experience becomes entangled in grasping and confusion. When that same nature is recognized directly, nothing needs to be escaped or transformed. That recognition is liberation.
