Karma Wheel (21.5 x 21.5 in.)

$350.00

This piece features the Tibetan word for Karma, “Le” repeated and arranged in a shape resembling a wheel. In Tibetan Buddhism, the wheel, or khorlo (Sanskrit: chakra), is a powerful symbol representing the cycle of samsara—the endless cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. It symbolizes the repetitive nature of human existence, driven by ignorance, attachment, and aversion. I’ve chosen to leave the circle open to represent our ability to escape the cycle of samsara.

Karma, or Le, plays a central role in perpetuating the repetitive cycle of samsara. This piece, therefore, aims to symbolize the manner in which karma creates the framework for the wheel of samsara.

The frame not included.

This piece is handwritten using a calligraphy pen. It’s made to order.
